A new name, a secret writer, and even better insights. 🚀
Been a minute—how’ve you been?
I’ve been deep in the trenches. Business was bonkers last year (yay!), but it left me with zero time for the newsletter (boo). Turns out, scaling a business takes a crap ton of time…who knew? 😅
But I’m back. And making some big changes.
One of the biggest? I officially launched Tether Insights—a research platform that helps brands uncover hidden consumer motivations using psychology-driven panels, AI-driven analysis, and real-time insights (instead of guesswork). And that’s exactly why this newsletter is evolving.
For a while, The Best Brands Do This focused on breaking down psychology case studies—interesting, sure, but not always actionable. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned working inside dozens of brands, it’s this: knowing what worked in the past isn’t enough. You need insights that are hidden beneath the surface—things your competitors aren’t seeing.
So I’m revamping the newsletter:
✅ Moving to Beehiiv for a smoother, more reliable experience (no missed emails, no weird formatting).
✅ Shifting from broad case studies to hidden, real-world insights—patterns we uncover inside brands before they hit the mainstream.
✅ Bringing on a (secret) new writer who lives in the data trenches with me—meet Dex, my slightly nerdy, fast-talking intern (who happens to be a dinosaur).
